The African Development Bank Group has developed this portal using the latest available research and technology to support country readiness and management of the threat that the Zika virus poses to social and economic welfare throughout Africa.

iReport | Zika in Africa provides dynamic access to the latest publicly available data, specialized data contributions from local health authorities of Africa, and direct, verified information from a network of volunteers from local communities to monitor conditions in local communities.

Through this portal, visitors may subscribe to alerts via mobile, email, and social media to stay apprised of the latest Zika-related developments in a country or region of interest. With these tools, we hope to foster the readiness of African communities and countries and therefore help to reduce the potential adverse impact of the Zika virus on the quality of life of the people of Africa.
